The Lee Harvey Oswald Experience The Remix/Remaster really got me to like this album. It has my favorite bass tones (Greg's fretless playing is God like, those fills on Pro-Catastrophe are crazy!), and I absolutely love the jams that are sprinkled throughout the album at the end of songs (a cool predecessor to the segues that started on Magnified). Favorite track: Screen Man.

KebLo There’s nothing wrong with the original mix! Been listening to and loving this album since the ‘90s. The remix is excellent if maybe too crisp. In 1992 they weren’t overthinking it, just getting to it. I don’t think there is much from those first 3 albums that I don’t think is raw and masterful. But listening to a new approach to that work is well worth the price of admission. Maybe the tightened up mastering has stolen a little of that punch in the chest that the original mix delivered.

mafoob Just rediscovering this album and I love it so much. Failure is one of my favorite bands of all time. The only thing I don't like about the remix/remastered is that is it lost some of the beautiful dirty distortion. But, it is really nice to have the rest so clear!

about

Failure Los Angeles, California

As otherworldly as Failure may often sound, the Los Angeles band is anchored by the distinctly terrestrial union of a long friendship between three musical allies. The band hinges on the interplay between Ken Andrews [vocals, guitar, bass, programming], Greg Edwards [vocals, guitar, bass, keys], and Kellii Scott [drums, percussion]. ... more
